Position: Internship or volunteer position (unpaid, college credit available)
Commitment: Minimum of 10-20 hours per week
Job Description
The San Diego Asian Film Foundation is seeking creative, outgoing, and responsible volunteers to assist in the video production team. We are looking for creative and engaged team members to assist in helping us tell our story through various video projects during the year. Participants will be exposed to all facets of video production including shooting, directing, editing, and management. Team will work directly with the Marketing Director, but also assist Executive Director and Managing Director.

Team members will get hands-on experience with video production using professional equipment and software. Team members will be granted exclusive access to events of the San Diego Asian Film Foundation including screenings, private parties, receptions, etc. This can be a great networking opportunity and provide valuable experience for those aspiring or currently participating in careers dealing with video production.
Desired Qualifications
Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills and traits:
- Strong communication skills
- Video Production Background
- Knowledge of Final Cut Pro
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to SDAFF office at Liberty Station in Point Loma
- Ability to work as a leader and as a part of a larger team
