We strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance online. Individual tickets can be purchased online through 9 PM on October 11 (Pacific Standard Time). Starting at 5 PM on October 13, you can also buy tickets onsite at the UltraStar Mission Valley box office. All online sales are subject to $1 fee per item plus 3% surcharge on order.

The All-Festival Pass is for film lovers who want to see as many films as possible and don't want to deal with the hassle of standing in line. The All-Festival Pass provides front-of-line privilege to all film programs, panels, and free entrance to our opening & closing night receptions and Blowfish music event.

To purchase an All-Festival Pass, you must be an SDAFF Member. Members will receive an exclusive purchase link. Become a member today.

Not sure what to watch? Want to save money? Then our Festival Value Packs are for you! For non-members, it comes out to only $7.25 per program. Also, good for multiple tickets to the same films so you can share with a friend. Tickets from Festival Value Packs cannot be used for our opening or closing night films.

Gather a group of 10 or more people for any one film screening, and receive even steeper discounts (and our admiration!) The cost is $7 per film at the Hazard Center Ultrastar October 15-19.

Our Gala Awards Dinner is one of the highlights of our festival, during which we announce the top films of the fest, enjoy entertainment, good food and drinks, and rub elbows with the stars. Thanks to Target, we are offering Target: Ten Free Films at Four. Any film during our festival at 4 PM is free to the public. However, to help us keep track of attendance, you must still get a ticket from the UltraStar box office. Only one free ticket per person, per program.
