To Submit Your Film

The 2010 San Diego Asian Film Festival is now accepting entries. This is your opportunity to be a part of one of the largest Pan Asian film festivals in the nation. We welcome filmmakers from around the world to submit their work for competition in our 11th film fest celebration to be held October 21-28, 2010.

There are 2 ways to submit you film:

  1. Click to submit, Withoutabox We prefer paperless online submissions through Withoutabox. Withoutabox provides cost saving, online entry to film festivals around the world, with one master entry form, allowing you to enter your film more quickly and with greater accuracy. This method is free and easy, and filmmakers with an upgraded project on Withoutabox receive discounts on their entry fees.

  2. You can submit to us the "old school" way by downloading our entry application.

Qualifiers

To qualify for our festival, your film must be:

  • Produced within two years of our festival date
  • Directed, produced, or principally acted by an Asian Pacific Islander
  • OR if the director is non-Asian, the film’s subject matter must be Asian
  • Available for exhibition in 35mm, NTSC Digitbeta, or NTSC BetaSP
  • If in a foreign language, must have English subtitles
