"A Thousand Years of Good Prayers," February 19

"Noodle" at SD Jewish Film Fest, February 12
We are proud to co-present the film, "Noodle," with our friends at the San Diego Jewish Film Festival, which runs February 4-15. "Noodle" is a delightfully spirited drama about the remarkable adventures of two unlikely friends - Mir, a 37 year old widowed El Al Flight attendant and the six year old Chinese speaking son of her housekeeper. After agreeing to watch Noodle (nicknamed for his slurping skills) for just one hour, Mir's life is turned upside-down.

Looking for a few great films
Attention filmmakers! The San Diego Asian Film Festival is now accepting submissions for our 10th season. All films submitted to us will be entered into competition for a minimum $1000 Jury Prize! For submission info, click here.
Also, our friends at Asian CineVision in New York are also taking submissions. The Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF) is the first and longest running festival to recognize the works of Asian/American media makers in the following categories: Narrative Features, Documentary Features, Short Films, Screenplays, Works-In-Progress, and Youth Films (under 20). Warner Bros. picks up SDAFF film for distribution
Director Gene Rhee just announced his feature, "A Trouble with Romance," which screened at SDAFF '07, is now making its world premiere via On Demand/Pay Per View.
