Tickets for films and Q&As will be available on our website at sdaff.org. Most films will be accessible to all residents with billing zip codes inside the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. A select number of films will be restricted to California or San Diego County residents only. While most films will be available to stream during our entire festival (12:00am Oct. 23, 2020 through 11:59 p.m. Oct. 31, 2020), a select number of films will have limited screening windows.

The majority of SDAFF 2020 films will be available to stream from 12:00am Oct. 23, 2020 through 11:59 p.m. Oct. 31, 2020, Pacific Time. A select number of films will have limited screening windows which are listed here. After clicking on the screening link provided in your confirmation email and starting the film, you will have 24 hours to finish the film. No extensions will be allowed for unwatched or unfinished films.
SDAFF 2020 includes a variety of live and pre-recorded filmmaker Q&As. While Live Q&A tickets are free to the public, a virtual ticket must still be redeemed to participate. Pre-recorded Q&A’s for select films will be included with the purchase of a screening ticket and will immediately follow the feature film. The Live Q&A schedule, as well as listing of films with pre-recorded Q&As, can be found here.
On certain nights throughout the festival, SDAFF 2020 will be presenting special SDAFF Drive-In! screenings at select locations. Please visit our SDAFF Drive-In! page for more information!
