Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating local Asian & Asian American authors and poets! San Diego Poetry Futures 2024 presents Asian and Asian American Poetry Jam, a special collaboration with San Diego Poet Laureate Jason Magabo Perez.

As part of the 13th SDAFF Spring Showcase, join us on Saturday, April 20th, from 5:00–7:00PM, for a captivating live poetry reading and workshop featuring talented San Diego Asian and Asian American poets. This event is free and open to the public. No RSVP required.

During the workshop, dive into the poetry writing process and explore themes of memory and remembering as poetic reclamation for Asian American identities across different generations. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with the vibrant poetry community, discover new voices, and tap into your inner artist.
