SHORTS: SWEET FANTASY BB
- Shorts
- 102 mins
Feels like I’m dreaming, but I’m not sleeping. Kitch cartoons bobbing up and down, AI dopplegangers stretched out in limos, mermaids gorging on each other, BTS joining the army – images so strange and unsettling they rise to the level actually describing our reality. This program brings together four visionary filmmakers who approach media and fantasy as parallel dimensions to our own, shaping us just as much as we invent them. There’s no beginning and there is no end.
Post-screening Q&A scheduled with filmmakers.
Join us for a very special Artist Talk on Monday, November 11, 4-5PM at University of San Diego, with ALISON NGUYEN contemporary artist and HISTORY AS HYPNOSIS filmmaker. This talk is free and open to the public.
