In the first Vietnamese feature film for kids, 8-year-old Hung is finally able to stand up to bullies with the help of an extraterrestrial visitor, who takes the shape of a girl named Maika. Hung’s techie dad has doubts about his son’s new pal, while greedy landlords and aeronautics entrepreneurs swarm in for a piece of the action. But Hung, Maika, and friends are the heroes here, bringing courage and madcap energy to this E.T.-esque adventure, warmly directed by Ham Tran (Journey from the Fall, Bitcoin Heist).
