In her first year at college, Sheila falls in love with a fellow dancer. The idea of being with a white guy, though, starts to mysteriously manifest in her mind and body as an imagined internal conflict: what will her parents think? How will this affect her relationship with the Pakistani immigrant community she grew up in? Director Haya Waseem concocts a swirling chiller of raging passion, paranoia, music, and movement, and a narrative riddle that woos our empathy for a character in crisis.
