Celebrate the best of Asian and Asian American cinema as we award the winning films and filmmakers of the 22nd San Diego Asian Film Festival!

Often described as the “Asian American Golden Globes,” the San Diego Asian Film Festival Awards Gala is the most celebrated event of the film festival. This year’s Awards Gala will streamed virtually once again –  live on Saturday, November 6th to audiences around the world as we award SDAFF’s top independent films.

The Awards Gala also recognizes Pacific Arts Movement’s Reel Voices Class of 2021! All proceeds benefit Pacific Arts Movement and our year-round educational programs, including Reel Voices – a documentary filmmaking program that empowers local high school students to become socially-conscious storytellers.
