Just one more night. Beautiful Mi-sun and ace driver Do-kyung have saved every miserable dollar working in the city’s seedy underbelly of hostess bars and shady deliveries. Finally, they’ll have a fresh start with a new home and a sun-filled florist shop. Except tomorrow all their dreams will be instantly wiped out by a vicious scam orchestrated by the terrifying kingpin Blackjack. But when Mi-sun (Han So-hee, Gyeongseong Creature) overhears a one-in-a-million chance to steal Blackjack’s secret motherlode of gold bars, these sisters-in-revenge go for broke in a desperate plan to reclaim their lives.

PROJECT Y’s female-led, adrenaline-filled heist thriller delivers the best of Hong Kong 90s-inspired noir. Director Lee Hwan spices up the ride with memorable evil from Blackjack’s cheating wife (played by Kpop star YooA), his sadistic force-of-nature henchwoman Bull, a basketball betting scandal subplot, and a drug-addled back-stabbing den mother who joins the chaos of outrunning a wretched underworld before it swallows everyone whole.
